Full-time Position – Fully Remote

This autonomous individual contributor role involves a broad range of responsibilities all of which are critical to success in continuing to build Orion Innovation’s EPM practice. The ability to prospect and generate leads is absolutely necessary, but our Account Executives must also be tech-savvy with a commitment to customer experience, an understanding of finance and an unparalleled level of integrity.

Position Overview

Our Account Executives are expected to be knowledgeable about the EPM market and be able to “talk-the-talk” with finance organizations. One of our many differentiators is finance domain expertise and that starts with our Account Executives. The software platforms we implement offer an intuitive system that integrates with various data sources and ERP systems, enabling institutions to balance growth with fiscal responsibility to meet stakeholder expectations. Finance teams are empowered with a streamlined and flexible budgeting and planning solution with robust reporting to support data-based decision making.

This is an individual contributor role with a broad range of responsibilities all of which are critical to success in continuing to build Orion Innovation’s EPM practice. The ability to prospect and generate leads from your own efforts is highly necessary – the ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in this regard. You must have a competitive spirit with the desire to win while maintaining the highest level of integrity. Your previous experience in the financial software market will be key to building rapport with clients and understanding how our software systems will translate into the solutions most critical to their success. You must be able to articulate the value proposition of our solutions to key stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a sales pipeline to consistently support annual sales and targeted revenue growth
  • Lead generation
  • Proven experience driving Software deals with contacts at VP level or higher
  • Experience with financial or operational functions preferred
  • Proven experience in effectively managing and growing a sales pipeline and providing accurate sales forecasts
  • Provide and review content for presentation in webinars, web presentations and onsite demonstrations
  • Review and offer input on RFls and RFPs 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, relating well to all kinds of people, building appropriate rapport for constructive and effective relationships
  • Minimum 2 -10 years of experience selling financial software
  • Proven track record of achieving quota
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and possess a high level of self-motivation in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation skills for large and small group settings
  • Experience selling SaaS / Cloud software is a plus
