The Position

As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive general dentistry while collaborating with an experienced clinical and administrative team dedicated to outstanding patient care.

 

This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, high clinical standards, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive private group practice. We are particularly interested in dentists who are confident clinicians, strong communicators, and passionate about delivering ethical, relationship-based care.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning

• Provide restorative, crown & bridge, prosthodontic, and emergency dental care

• Perform routine and surgical extractions within clinical competency

• Restore dental implants and provide clear aligner consultations, as applicable

• Complete hygiene exams and periodic patient evaluations

• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

• Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff

• Deliver ethical, patient-centered care while building long-term patient relationships

• Utilize digital dentistry technologies to support clinical excellence

Supervisory Responsibilities

• No immediate direct reports

Skills & Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school

• Active dental license (or eligibility for licensure in the practicing state)

• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and treatment planning abilities

• Experience providing comprehensive general dentistry

• Excellent communication and patient education skills

• Proficiency with digital dental technology and electronic documentation

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with high professional standards

• Commitment to ethical, patient-focused care and clinical excellence

Work Environment

• Doctor-led private practice focused on ethical, patient-centered care

• Modern offices featuring digital workflows, intraoral scanners, CBCT, DICOM imaging, and AI-assisted diagnostics

• Collaborative team environment with dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative support

• Strong clinical autonomy backed by operational and leadership support

• Average patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day, including exams, restorative care, emergencies, and consultations

• Fee-for-Service and PPO practice model emphasizing quality over production quotas

Compensation

• Production-based earning potential of $350,000-$450,000+ annually

• Competitive compensation based on experience, production, case acceptance, and office demand

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school

• Active dental license (or ability to obtain)
