The Position

At the company, electrical engineers play a key role in researching, designing, developing, testing, and deploying advanced technology solutions. The team of engineers work on a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge projects—including mission-critical payloads, sophisticated electronic systems, integrated aircraft platforms, and space exploration technologies. From analog and digital circuit board design to fully integrated aerospace systems, you'll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, helping to create innovative, high-performance solutions that meet the demands of modern defense and aerospace missions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement analog and digital circuit board assemblies and electrical systems

  • Translate system and flight test engineering requirements into electrical designs

  • Interpret flight test equipment interface control documents (ICDs) to define system interconnections

  • Select and specify interconnection components (e.g., connectors, cables, wire, harnesses)

  • Create detailed wiring diagrams, harness assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOM)

  • Ensure compliance with aircraft safety standards during wiring system implementation

  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers for installation of wiring and test instrumentation systems

  • Provide liaison support for flight test instrumentation and integration activities

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No immediate direct reports

​

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant electrical engineering experience

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and electrical system design practices

  • Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and logical/harness design CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, Capital, Zuken)

  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (e.g., 3DExperience, Teamcenter)

  • Knowledge of system safety engineering and hazard mitigation techniques

  • Hands-on experience with large transport category aircraft (14 CFR Part 25 compliance)

  • Proficient in electrical component selection, manufacturing processes, and model-based design methods

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Work Environment

  • On-site position located in Englewood, CO, Plano, TX, or Dayton, OH

​

Compensation

  • Position offers an hourly W2 Rate between $50-$58, with additional benefits

​

Requirements

  • Because this client is a Federal Government Contractor performing services for the DoD, US Air Force, NASA and others, they do require US, Non-Dual Citizenship
