The Position
The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, test, and support advanced electrical and electronic systems for aerospace, defense, and space exploration applications. This role involves end-to-end ownership of electrical designs, from circuit-level development to fully integrated systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in electrical engineering principles, circuit design, system analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced, on-site engineering environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, test, and improve advanced electrical and electronic systems

Conceptualize and design products across the full lifecycle, from circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems

Perform electrical circuit design, schematic capture, and system-level integration

Conduct electrical load analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and performance analysis

Support certification, deployment, and continuous improvement of products and systems

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout design and development phases
-
Apply industry-standard electrical design principles, manufacturing, and production processes
-
Evaluate and ensure compliance with electromagnetic effects (EME), including EMC, EMI, HIRF, and IEL requirements
-
Support troubleshooting, testing, and validation of analog and digital electronic systems

Skills & Qualifications
-
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools

Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams

Preferred Experience
-
Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis

Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
-
Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis

Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)
-
Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes

Familiar with Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)

Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture

Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools

Compensation

Position offers an hourly W2 Rate between $50 - $58, with additional benefits ​
