The Position

GC America is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Field Sales Representative to 
manage and grow an established territory across British Columbia and Manitoba. This 
individual will be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying 
new business opportunities, and increasing sales of GC's portfolio of dental materials, 
restorative products, preventive solutions, and related dental technologies.


The ideal candidate is an experienced territory sales professional with a proven track 
record in dental, medical, or healthcare sales who thrives in an autonomous field-based 
environment and enjoys building long-term customer partnerships.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an established territory consisting of dental practices, specialists, 
    laboratories, and distribution partners throughout British Columbia and Manitoba

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales 
    objectives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dentists, specialists, dental 
    laboratories, key opinion leaders, and distributor representatives

  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational meetings with 
    customers

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand product adoption within existing 
    accounts

  • Maintain regular customer contact through in-person visits, phone calls, and virtual 
    meetings

  • Partner with distributor sales teams to maximize market penetration and sales 
    growth

  • Attend trade shows, industry meetings, and customer events as needed

  • Maintain accurate territory records, forecasts, and activity reporting

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive products, and market developments

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No immediate direct reports

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional 
    experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience

  • Proven success managing a geographic sales territory and meeting or exceeding 
    sales goals

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

Preferred Experience

  • Dental industry sales experience

  • Existing relationships within the dental community, including general dentists, 
    specialists, dental laboratories, or distributors

  • Experience selling clinical consumables, dental materials, restorative products, or 
    related healthcare products

  • Experience working within a distributor-supported sales model

 

Work Environment

  • On-site position in British Columbia, Canada (Preferred home base in central/suburban BC)

  • Approximately 30% overnight travel, including quarterly travel to Manitoba

Compensation

  • Position offers a Base Salary of $95,000 – $105,000 CAD (Commensurate with experience)
