The Position

As a Logistics Specialist I, you assist with the preparation of our logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You'll support routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. You'll learn applicable state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and manuals

  • Support routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics

  • Maintain records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals

  • Track logistics materials and parts to ensure proper allocation within storage facilities

  • Assist with compliance related to state, federal, and international import/export regulations

  • Handle physical logistics tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, and stair climbing

  • Occasionally work in outdoor environments and around loud noise

  • Perform safety-sensitive duties, including inspecting or transporting hazardous materials and operating vehicles or equipment

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No immediate direct reports

​

Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent 

  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience 

  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

​

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to inventory databases 

  • Familiarity with Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques 

  • Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systemsHazMat Training/Certification 

  • Ability to operate a Forklift Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS

  • Understanding of Shelf Life Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Work Environment

  • On-site position located in Parker, Colorado 

  • This is a 1-year contract 

​

Compensation

  • Position offers an hourly W2 Rate between $15 - $20, with additional benefits â€‹

​

Requirements

  • Because this client is a Federal Government Contractor performing services for the DoD, US Air Force, NASA and others, they do require US, Non-Dual Citizenship

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systemsHazMat Training/Certification
