Patient Enrollment Specialist
Full-Time Position – Remote

The Position
This is a dedicated outbound enrollment position responsible for educating patients about referred or available services, addressing questions or concerns, and guiding patients through the enrollment process. The Patient Enrollment Specialist serves as the first point of contact for eligible patients and plays a critical role in the success of our care delivery programs.
The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a patient-focused approach, and a consultative sales mindset. Success in this role requires the ability to build trust quickly, clearly articulate program benefits, overcome patient hesitation, and motivate individuals to participate in programs designed to improve their health outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct outbound calls to eligible patients regarding referred or qualifying programs

Educate patients on program benefits, eligibility requirements, and how participation supports their overall health and wellness

Clearly explain program features, expectations, consent requirements, and enrollment documentation

Address patient concerns, objections, or apprehensions with empathy, professionalism, and confidence

Effectively communicate the value of participation while maintaining a patient-centered approach

Guide patients through the enrollment process and ensure all required information is accurately collected and documented

Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal care teams to support seamless onboarding

Maintain accurate records within EHR and CRM systems

Schedule follow-up appointments and facilitate communication between patients and care teams

Meet enrollment performance goals while maintaining exceptional patient experience standards

Protect patient privacy and comply with all HIPAA and organizational policies
Supervisory Responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications
-
Previous experience in patient enrollment, patient access, healthcare customer service, care coordination, healthcare call centers, inside sales, benefits enrollment, or related patient-facing roles

Demonstrated success in outbound calling, engagement, enrollment, or customer acquisition activities

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex healthcare concepts

Comfortable handling objections and helping patients make informed enrollment decisions

Ability to communicate with empathy, professionalism, and confidence across diverse patient populations

Experience working within EHR, EMR, CRM, or other healthcare technology platforms preferred

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume workflow independently

Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Work Environment

Full-time position located in GA, MD, NY, PA, SC, TX, or VA – working 8-5pm EST.
Compensation

Position offers an hourly rate of $26-$28, with additional benefits
