The Position In this position, you’ll guide teams and the organization in adopting and excelling in Agile methodologies. Your role will involve facilitating Scrum ceremonies, fostering meaningful discussions, and enabling effective decision-making. You’ll work to remove impediments, analyze velocity, monitor key metrics, and ensure transparency by radiating critical information.
As a trusted authority on Agile frameworks and best practices, you’ll mentor and implement new teams while providing strategic recommendations for improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and maintain the product backlog and provide servant leadership to support teams in achieving their goals. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding the organization to embrace Agile values and principles.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections
Monitor outstanding receivables and perform regular account reviews to track payment status
Follow up on overdue invoices and collaborate with clients to resolve billing issues
Ensure invoice accuracy by working closely with internal teams to align billing with contract terms
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external partners regarding account inquiries
Maintain strong customer relationships to support efficient collections and account resolution
Assist in month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to identify trends and support decision-making
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and client-specific billing requirements
Apply sound accounting principles to ensure the integrity of financial transactions
Support continuous process improvement initiatives within the accounts receivable function
Supervisory Responsibilities
No immediate direct reports
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Typically 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
AR/Billing experience in the U.S. Military, Department of Defense or Aerospace and Defense Industry (preferred)
Work Environment
On-site position located in Sparks, Nevada
Compensation
Position offers an hourly W2 Rate of $25-$28 per hour, with additional benefits
