The Position The IT Support Technician IV is a senior-level technical support specialist responsible for delivering advanced IT assistance across desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and network systems. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, installing and maintaining computer equipment, and supporting end-users both remotely and on-site.
The technician will evaluate user needs and recommend effective technology solutions while ensuring the smooth daily operations of IT systems. Strong problem-solving skills, customer service excellence, and the ability to manage multiple technical tasks efficiently are essential. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system performance, improving IT infrastructure, and supporting the organization’s overall technological efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, and network equipment
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to operating systems and applications
Assist in network maintenance and performance monitoring
Recommend hardware and software solutions based on user needs and organizational requirements
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, incidents, and resolutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and upgrades
Provide excellent end-user support via phone, remote access, or in-person assistance
Ensure IT compliance with company policies, standards, and best practices
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs, and steps
Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes
Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.

Skills & Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a related field of study with 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Strong sense of customer/solution ownership, an overall drive for excellence, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects to successful completion
Team focused with the capacity for knowledge sharing and team leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills with end users and leadership
Drive to maintain current knowledge of industry trends and potential impact on the business
Demonstrate a customer care philosophy that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction
Ability to understand user and business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Ability to manage small IT projects
In-depth knowledge of current IT technical standards as related to computers, printers, network technology, drivers, software troubleshooting, VPN technologies and RSA, Video Teleconference (VTC), and other related peripherals
Comprehensive troubleshooting skills of industry-standard hardware and software products/services
Work Environment
On-site position located in Englewood, Colorado
Compensation
Position offers an hourly W2 Rate between $32-$38, with additional benefits
