The Position
Join a team driving innovation in advanced aerospace and defense technologies. As an RF Engineer II, you'll contribute to the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge systems—from mission payloads and RF electronics to integrated aircraft and space exploration technologies. Key responsibilities include RF front-end design, radio propagation modeling, microwave path analysis, interference and filter design, frequency planning, A/D conversion, and circuit design. Help shape the future through technology and imagination.
Duties & Responsibilities

Apply conceptual knowledge of RF engineering principles and practices

Support RF modeling and analysis using industry-standard tools and techniques
-
Collaborate within multi-disciplinary design and development teams
-
Strong understanding of RF design, analysis, and testing principles
-
Experience with RF analysis techniques such as Cosite analysis, E3 integration, link budgets, and antenna pattern evaluation
-
Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools, including: ANSYS HFSS, EMIT, SAVANT/SBR+, Keysight GENESYS, Sonnet Professional, AWR Microwave Office, VSS and MATLAB

Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as: Mentor Graphics Xpedition, PADS PowerLogic & Layout and GerbTool

Ability to prepare substantiation documentation, including test plans, reports, and compliance checklists

Hands-on experience with RF test equipment: Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators

Knowledge of MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-461 test procedures

Background in the Aerospace and Defense industry, DoD, or U.S. Military environments

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's of Science Degree in RF Engineering or related Engineering discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience

Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Conceptual understanding of RF engineering principles and industry best practices

Experience in RF system analysis, including co-site analysis, E3 integration, and link budget evaluation

Familiarity with antenna pattern analysis

Background in the Aerospace, Defense, or Military sectors preferred

Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and technical standards

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills

Hands-on experience with RF simulation and analysis software

Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools

Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation (test plans, reports, compliance checklists)

Previous work in Aerospace, Defense, Department of Defense (DoD), or U.S. Military environments

Compensation

Position offers an hourly W2 Rate between $75-$80, with additional benefits
