The Position

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Upstream & 
Downstream Marketing to lead both product marketing strategy and commercial execution across a growing portfolio. This highly visible role serves as the bridge between Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring products are aligned with market needs and successfully launched to drive adoption, revenue, and long-term growth.

 

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and strategic thinking with hands-on 
marketing execution. They will be responsible for transforming customer and market 
insights into product positioning, go-to-market strategies, demand generation programs, and sales enablement initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead product marketing strategy, market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to drive growth and innovation

  • Partner with Product Management to define product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and product launch initiatives that increase awareness, engagement, and revenue

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to create sales enablement tools, training programs, and customer-focused marketing resources

  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities and strategic recommendations

  • Track and optimize marketing performance through KPI reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to achieve commercial objectives

  • Manage external agencies, research partners, and vendors while presenting strategic insights and performance results to leadership

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No immediate direct reports

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, strategic marketing, product 
    management, or related commercial leadership roles

  • Demonstrated success leading both: 

    • Upstream Marketing (market research, customer insights, product positioning, strategy development) 

    • Downstream Marketing (go-to-market planning, demand generation, product launches, sales enablement)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex 
    data into actionable business decisions.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder 
    management skills

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and leadership 
    levels

Preferred Experience

  • MBA or advanced business degree

  • Experience within the dental, medical device, healthcare, or related industries

  • Experience managing agency relationships and external marketing partners

 

Work Environment

  • On-site Position located in Malvern, Pennsylvania 

Compensation

  • Position offers a Base Salary of $90,000 – $145,000 (Based on Experience)
