The Position
Our Client is seeking outgoing, customer-focused Smile Techs / Brand Ambassadors to represent its growing smile-aesthetics brand at regional pop-up events throughout the Charlotte area and surrounding markets. This event-based 1099 opportunity combines brand representation, consultative sales, customer engagement, and digital technology to help consumers begin their clear-aligner journey. Ideal candidates are confident communicators who enjoy connecting with people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are motivated by performance-based earnings and growth opportunities within an expanding national brand.
Duties & Responsibilities

Welcome and proactively engage customers at pop-up events

Build immediate rapport and create a fun, positive customer experience

Educate attendees about clear-aligner options and the purchasing process

Perform quick intraoral scans using company-provided equipment and training
-
Guide customers through online registration, photographs, financing, and payment options

Use a consultative, relationship-focused approach to convert interested attendees into customers

Confidently ask customers whether they are ready to move forward

Assist multiple customers simultaneously during busy event periods

Maintain strong energy and professionalism throughout each event

Follow approved language and remain within the nonclinical scope of the position

Collaborate with Smile Coaches, trainers, and other event representatives

Travel regionally to scheduled pop-up events

Preferred Experience

Work Environment

Typical events consist of two eight-hour days, generally from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Events may occur on weekdays or weekends

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are common event days

Representatives will review upcoming events and claim assignments based on their availability

Event frequency, assignments, hours, and earnings may vary based on availability, location, customer volume, and sales performance
Compensation
-
$25 per hour for paid event assignments

$25 commission for each completed sale
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
-
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
-
Active dental license (or ability to obtain)
