Technical Trainer II
Full-time Contract Position – Remote

The Position
The Technical Trainer II is responsible for developing, designing, and implementing advanced technical content and training materials for both internal and external customers. This role includes delivering on-site and remote client support by providing expert training programs and advising on technical training materials. The Trainer II collaborates with product management, engineers, and program managers to ensure training programs are effective and aligned with company objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, design, and implement advanced technical training content and materials

Deliver on-site and remote technical training sessions to internal and external customers

Collaborate with product management, engineers, and program managers to gather content and ensure training accuracy

Provide advice on technical training materials and programs
-
Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to continuously improve training programs
-
Develop and implement evaluation criteria to measure the effectiveness of training programs
-
Maintain and update training content to ensure it remains current and relevant
-
Assist in the administration and management of Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Skills & Qualifications
-
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
-
In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
-
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
-
Proficiency with e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
-
Experience with supporting/addressing customer training objectives
-
Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience
-
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
-
Certification in technical training or e-learning (e.g., CPLP, ATD, CTT+)
-
Proficiency with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools

Work Environment

Fully Remote position

This is a 6-month contract

Compensation
-
Position offers an hourly W2 Rate between $35 - $40, with additional benefits ​

Requirements

Because this client is a Federal Government Contractor performing services for the DoD, US Air Force, NASA and others, they do require US, Non-Dual Citizenship
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Preferred certification in technical training or e-learning (e.g., CPLP, ATD, CTT+)
